Great location in a beautiful village. Comfy beds, lovely bath, hot water, very clean. Thanks for the welcome gifts and having a Christmas tree was a bonus. Only gripes were lack of oven gloves, needed more tea towels and lighting could be brighter in the kitchen. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the cottage.

the heating was not on so the house was really cold, not the sort of welcpme you want on a cold wet novemebr day . having waited for awhile for it to come on, thinking it might be on a timer it became obvious it had broken. in many other lets we have stayed in , in the winter months the agent/owner has obviously come round shortly before and put heating on, even put a light on so when arrive it is cosy. the heating was fixed fairly quickly however the house is not a warm house and even with heater and log fire going the house never got warm before we went to bed . so a cold and disappointing start to the break, and again as we were not allowed to change any settings the following evening was also a cold evening as by the time the house any sort of heat in it , it was bedtime. For the amount of rent being charged the heater settings being used are just mean , and money pinching by the owner!!

Scrupulously clean and maintained. A very well equipped kitchen. A delight to sleep somewhere in complete peace and darkness. Delightful village too.
