Cedar Lodge is set in Strawberryfield Park, home to some of the most luxurious and contemporary lodges on the market. Strawberryfield Park is nestled on the fringe of the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a perfect setting to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Cedar Lodge is a lovely modern lodge furnished to the highest standard, with floor to ceiling windows and glass doors offering ample natural light. Externally, the Lodge has a decked terrace area furnished with a hot tub, providing the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the local area.
Strawberryfield Park offers contemporary eco lodges set within a 14 acre estate, and perfectly positioned for exploring some of the most famous locations in Somerset. Only a short drive away is Cheddar Gorge, the gorge is the site of the Cheddar show caves, where Britain's oldest complete human skeleton, Cheddar Man, estimated to be over 9,000 years old, was found in 1903. Also nearby is Wooky Hole Caves and Longleat House and Safari Park.
The historic city of Wells is also within easy reach offering its famous breath-taking Cathedral as well as Bishop's Palace and The Wells Market Place, with lively markets twice a week.
The scenic Georgian City of Bath offering a wealth of culture and steeped in history can be easily reached by car. offering some of the UK’s most famous places of cultural and historical interest include the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Pultney Bridge and Sydney Gardens. Hours can easily be lost, spent walking around in this stunning City.

This place really had a wow factor! Then we found the hot tub, which is now a must on future accommodation. We loved the attention to detail, robes in the wardrobe, great linen, plenty of towels and the arrival pack was awesome, please do not change this. The lodge is super warm and is really well finished. I'd recommend this place every time, and we will be back. Don't forget to use the cider barn, the chilli served in there was hot and lovely. Ideally located for exploring, as its near Wells, Glastonbury, Bath & Bristol. We did pop to the coast but it wasn't as nice as else where we'd ventured to. Strawberries, Cider, hot tub what more do you need in life :-)

My husband and I and my three children enjoyed a fabulous holiday at Cedar Lodge. My children's ages range from 23 months to 7 years and we found the accomadation to be of a high standard, faultlessly clean and everything we should need provided. The welcome basket was fantastic and the hot tub was an amazing addition which the whole family enjoyed whatever the weather. There is a park adjacent to the site which we enjoyed and is an easy level walk to get to. We would have no hesitation in recommending the site to anybody be it families or couples. We didn't visit the Cider Barn much to my husbands distaste but it always look welcoming! The site is so close to many attractions and we certainly didn't visit half of those we hoped to hence we will be back.

Lovely holiday lodge accommodation near Cheddar. Very cosy and warm with everything you could need for self catering break including useful welcome pack of basics and a few treats. Good to find somewhere that even has supply of washing up liquid for a change. We enjoyed the hot tub and found plenty to visit nearby despite rotten weather. Car park space a little tight for larger vehicles I would imagine.
