Guests say

Y Dderwen is a well-received cottage, praised for its idyllic location in the Berwyn mountains, offering stunning views and tranquility. Guests find it cosy, well-equipped, and ideal for a relaxing break. The local area is friendly with a village shop, post office, and pub nearby. It's a perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway with beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodation.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and well-presented, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating high standards are maintained.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquility, and proximity to local amenities and attractions, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat.

The cottage is repeatedly referred to as cosy and comfortable, with comfy beds and a homely feel. However, one comment about a single toilet for three bedrooms slightly impacts the perfect score.

The property is well-equipped according to guests, but one mention of a partially non-working cooker suggests there is room for improvement in maintenance.

While guests appreciate the communication with the owner and the provision of helpful information, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

A very comfortable and spacious cottage in the middle of rural Wales. The cottage was clean and warm and had everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, good WiFi and tv. Views of the fields and hills were beautiful. Only one minor gripe; as I have a small car, had to be careful of the potholes in the track leading up to the cottage (the owners warned me about them beforehand, thankfully). Apart from that, everything was perfect for a relaxing break!
