It is the perfect romantic retreat to enjoy the many festivals and events on offer. This thriving market town with a myriad of restaurants, boutique shops and an architectural gem, is situated in a cliff above the River Teme and surrounded by the countryside of south Shropshire. Busy throughout the year with events and festivals celebrating good food, arts, crafts, theatre, walking and boasts the annual Food and Drink Festival. For keen walkers enjoy the Mary Webb trail, The Shropshire Way and Walks in the Mortimer Forest as well as shorter strolls alongside the river and around the medieval castle. There s much to see further afield in the historic town of Shrewsbury, Stokesay Castle, Wenlock Priory and Severn Valley Railway. The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: 1 double.
