The house just lends itself to celebrations and large family groups. Everything is well thought out and the owners have tried to think of everything you might want or need. The beds are so comfortable you might not want to get up. There were a couple of things you'd expect from an older house like the water pressure being a little temperamental on occasions and takes a while to warm the house but loved it.

The only thing that stops me giving it a 10 is the poor quality showers.

Plenty of facilities to keep our group of 9 adults and 5 children entertained all weekend and the novelty of the secret slide did not wear off! The hot tub, and games table were great. Well equipped kitchen to cater for large groups and a huge dining table that could seat us all. Miranda was very responsive and informative when I contacted her with questions prior to our stay. Additional touches included a lovely welcome basket for our arrival and a beautiful Christmas tree in the grand living room as well as providing robes in each bedroom and additional towels for the hot tub. My only disappointment was not being able to stay longer. I would certainly recommend and would love to return should there be a suitable group occasion in the future.
