I loved our stay here. I will tell you now, a weekend is just not enough!! If you are reading this, book at least 3-5 nights to really enjoy this place. Our hosts were the loveliest couple you could ever meet. They thought of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING!!!! From setting the dining table for our whole party, to every cooking or baking utensil you need. The hot tub was blissful and the scenery was lovely. We went for walks and enjoyed the games room and nothing beats chilling at the end of the day with a nice glass of wine in front of a huge roaring fireplace to keep warm. There were even blankets on each sofa or chair to snuggle up with.

There was nowhere to put rubbish and considering the cottage sleeps 14, we struggled with 8, we were driving into the town daily to get rid of our rubbish. There were also two leaks one in the kitchen and one in the room next to the kitchen. Would i stay again, no probably not for the price we payed i just expected better.

Nothing is scrimped, grounds are immaculate, the house is absolutely charming as are Julie and Mac. Can't recommend it highly enough, we'll be back.
