The cottage is absolutely lovely. Cozy bed, well functioning kitchen and bathroom and super cost efficient fireplace! Few logs and you can enjoy it slow burn all evening. The owners are lovely and gives you all the privacy. There are few more guest houses on the farm, but we haven’t seen or heard anyone just the birds and visiting well wishing red deers! Good location too, easy drive to Bakewell as well as Roaches, Lud’s Church and Thor’s cave. Plenty of secure parking on the property. Recommended.

We knew the owners were on standby, but they didn't get involved with us and left us to our own devices. Perfect. All the things you'd want were available within the excellent cottage/shooting lodge.
