Guests say

Guests have enjoyed their stays at The Barn, praising its spaciousness, cleanliness, and beautiful location. The property is well-suited for families and groups, offering a comfortable base with well-equipped facilities. The presence of animals and the countryside setting add to the charm, and the host's friendliness and helpfulness are frequently mentioned. Some minor issues with mattresses and maintenance are noted, but these do not detract from the overall positive experiences.

The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness. This suggests that guests are generally satisfied with the level of hygiene maintained at the property.

The location is often described as beautiful and peaceful, with great views and proximity to local attractions like Alton Towers. The rural setting and nearby walks are appreciated, although one review mentioned difficulty with impassable footpaths.

While the property is generally found to be comfortable and spacious, there are multiple mentions of lumpy mattresses, suggesting that the comfort level of the sleeping arrangements could be improved.

Facilities are deemed excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen and high-spec equipment. However, some reviews suggest that certain aspects, such as the showers and an oven door, could benefit from maintenance or an upgrade.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host, so it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness category based on the reviews provided.

We had an amazing Christmas week here, the children loved feeding the horses, the barn is lovely and spacious we had 10 people in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone. The owner is great who is happy to help if needed. We enjoyed it that much we’ve booked again for next Christmas.

The cottage was absolutely perfect! Loads of space and absolutely everything you could possibly need for a family retreat. Warm and cozy . Our host was very helpful and available if needed. Sadly we didn't get to feed the horses, the weather wasn't kind to us but gave us a very good reason to go back.

Had a lovely time at the cottage excellent facilities could do with some new mattresses as they were very soft and a bit lumpy but overall a great stay
