The calf shed was very clean and well equipped with everything you might need and more! We really appreciated the welcome treats and delivery of eggs. In a great location to reach Buxton with shops and restaurants as well many local attractions, walks, bikes rides etc. Also very good food at the village pub!

We have just returned from a short break staying at the 'Calf Shed'.I would highly recommend to others and if we decide to re-visit that area of the Peak District I would definitely book again. The accommodation is of a high standard throughout with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing time away. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The garden/terrace area is fully enclosed and dog-safe.The local area is perfect for exploring the Peak District with loads of walks and beautiful areas to visit. Only a few minutes drive to Bakewell and Buxton.Plenty of places/pubs to eat locally.I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the 'Calf Shed' to others.
