This superb, two-bedroom terraced cottage is located on the edge of the River Wye in Litton Mill, just three miles from Tideswell. With views over the River Wye from the property, as well as access to the river, this is a fantastic holiday destination. As you enter the cottage, you are greeted by a sitting room equipped with a woodburner, so you can curl up and keep warm and cosy after a day out exploring. The open plan kitchen/dining area is an ideal place to sit together and plan your activities or prepare dinner, with a window through to the sitting room meaning you can keep an eye on things without missing out. Upstairs are two beautifully decorated bedrooms and a hi-spec shower room, and there is also a second shower room on the ground floor. Outside there is a courtyard area with seating and handy bike storage, as the surrounding area is great to explore on two wheels. Close to Tideswell, Buxton and Bakewell, staying at Riverside Cottage gives you a fantastic opportunity to visit these historic Peak District towns, as well as the wonderful Monsal Trail running down the valley. This is a fabulous property to be visited at any time of the year.

The pretty village of Litton Mill lies on the River Wye in the breathtaking Peak District National Park. The village is situated on the stunning 8.5 mile Monsal Trail and is a haven for walkers, cyclists and climbers. The trail has fantastic views of twin viaducts which formed part of the Midlands railway line. Just three miles away is the village of Tideswell which sits in the heart of the National Park. The village is famous for its magnificent church, known as 'The Cathedral of the Peak' and has many amenities including pubs, a chemist, butchers and bakers. The Peak District is a walker's paradise with the stunning rugged peaks to the north and the hills and dales to the south. Also nearby are Castleton, Buxton and Bakewell.
