Snaptrip says

Curlew Cottage in Buxton is highly praised for its beautiful setting, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the stunning views, peaceful location, and the cottage's cosy, home-from-home atmosphere. While some mention minor issues with lighting and Wi-Fi, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention that the cottage is spotlessly clean, with several comments highlighting its immaculate condition. This suggests a very high standard of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.

The location is frequently described as beautiful and peaceful, with superb views and proximity to local attractions in the Peak District. The only drawback mentioned is the property's remoteness, which affects connectivity.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable, often referring to it as cosy and warm. The furniture is comfortable, and the atmosphere is welcoming, contributing to the overall comfort of the stay.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a kitchen that has everything guests could wish for. However, some guests noted the lack of Wi-Fi and issues with lighting and hot water, suggesting room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

Several guests mention thoughtful touches like a welcome gift of local cheese and biscuits, which adds to the experience. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.
