Snaptrip says

Garden Cottage is consistently praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and idyllic location in the Peak District. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting on a working dairy farm, with stunning views and proximity to local attractions. The cottage's cosy atmosphere and friendly owner contribute to a delightful stay, although some mention minor issues with water pressure and the absence of a bath. Thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and homemade jam are noted, enhancing the charm of this rural retreat.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being very clean, fresh flowers, and a welcoming smell of polish upon arrival. Only one mention of needing to clean kitchen utensils suggests an isolated incident rather than a trend.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience for exploring the Peak District, with easy access to walks, towns, and attractions. The farm setting adds to the rural charm, contributing to the high rating.

Comfort is frequently highlighted, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the bed and sofa particularly comfortable. The only drawback mentioned is the low water pressure during farm operations, which seems to be a minor inconvenience.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped for a self-catering stay. However, some guests noted the lack of a bath and occasional issues with the shower due to water pressure, slightly lowering the score.

Guests frequently mention thoughtful gestures such as chocolates, biscuits, and homemade jam. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, although common, are not guaranteed with every stay.

Beautifully decorated and dressed in a modern country style. Ideal location to stay as not that far from Peak District attractions ie Chatsworth House 30 mins away . Lots of space for clothes etc and a well equipped kitchen a real homely place to stay.
