Lavender Cottage is consistently praised for its comfort, well-equipped facilities, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches from the hosts, including a welcome pack and bathroom amenities. The cottage's location is convenient for exploring Buxton, despite a steep hill, and the availability of parking is a plus. The property is ideal for friends seeking a cozy retreat with plenty to do in the area.
There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score.
The cottage is within walking distance of Buxton town centre, which guests find convenient. The mention of a steep hill and the reliability of local taxis suggest a good but not perfect location.
Guests describe the cottage as comfortable, cozy, and ideal for groups of friends. The positive descriptions indicate a high level of comfort.
The property is noted to be well-equipped, with every kitchen utensil and dish imaginable, as well as parking facilities. The lack of a bigger window in bedrooms is a minor point, not detracting significantly from the overall high standard.
The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing a welcome pack and bathroom amenities. While such gestures are greatly appreciated, guests should note that these are not guaranteed for every stay.
