Longnor is a great starting point for walks with routes varying from easy strolls along the river, to more serious hikes. The larger towns of Bakewell and Buxton are less than 10 miles away.

the hosts couldnt be more obliging . property just down road from the village where theres a great pub shop etc. all in all well worth a visit
