The first floor features a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom, ideal for families or friends. The family bathroom, with both a shower and separate bath, offers the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. On the second floor, a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room provides a peaceful retreat, while the final bedroom, with two single beds, is great for children or additional guests. The small courtyard at the back of the property, complete with patio furniture, offers a private spot to relax and enjoy a morning coffee and natter.

Just a short walk from the cottage, you’ll find the famous Buxton Opera House, where you can enjoy a variety of performances throughout the year. If you fancy a day in the city, hop on the direct train to Manchester, within an hour you will be in the hustle and bustle of the city and all it has to offer, with late trains back available. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the Peak District offers countless walking routes, including the Monsal Trail and Lathkill Dale. Nearby towns like Bakewell and Matlock are also within easy reach, offering additional attractions. Nice, well-presented cottage. Parking wasn't an issue for us, we were able to park outside each time we moved the car. Only improvement to suggest would be some extra glasses and cutlery - 13-place dishwasher but only 8 knives!

Location of the property was great and there was plenty of space.Couple of niggles. Lack of communication from property owner despite several attempts of contacting him.We had politely asked if we could extend our checkout time till 11. If the answer would have been No then no problem. Also made contact out of curtesy to say we would be much later arriving than originally planned. Again no response. Even a thanks for letting me know enjoy your stay reply would have been nice.There were several dead flies on window ledges. I know it's been hot and flies are part of summer but I don't think that many dead flies would have accumulated in a matter of a couple of hours since the property was cleaned. Also the carpets need a really good clean. I understand with changing of weather can result in dirty footprints but a good carpet clean would help every so often.
