We relaxed as soon as we set foot inside. All the amenities are of a high standard and nothing has been missed. Walk in shower with lashing of hot water was very welcomed after walks in the surrounding hills as was the king sized bed. Great location for walks from the doorstep and travel to Buxton or Bakewell. The host left us an amazing welcome pack which included bread, milk, wine, small jams, tea, coffee etc and was very much appreciated. They have put their heart and soul into the restoration of the Saw Mill and it is a fascinating building. We wish them all the very best for the future and we will certainly be booking again.

It was a shame that we weren’t able to visit Phillip’s workshop though, but we are definitely thinking of visiting again. I’ve even recommended this stay to my friends as well. Thank you once again

The apartment was finished to a very high standard and was extremely well equipped. Shirley & Phillip provided us an excellent welcome pack and they were more than happy for us to explore the Saw Mill's surroundings, including a fascinating visit to Phillip's workshop. We enjoyed our stay so much, we plan to return.
