2 Bedrooms- This Grade II listed cottage, dates back nearly 300 years, its arched leaded windows to most rooms adding to its historic character, along with period features in side and beamed ceilings – the cottage is located in the heart of the village close to the amenities the village has to offer. You enter the cottage into the good sized dining entrance reception hall, with part flagged and wooden floors, beamed ceilings adding to the rooms welcoming character. To the rear a door goes through to the well equipped fitted kitchen and one of two ground floors doors that leads to the small patio area. A further door from the dining hall goes to the lounge with further beams and flagged floors, which is a good size along with the welcoming log burning stove inset in the gritstone fireplace – a door from this room leads to a small utility/storage room and the second external ground floor door. The original stairs from the lounge (please be careful as you go up and down) lead to the first floor and the bedrooms and off the landing the first bedroom has two single beds, with original feature stone fireplace and the second bedroom with a super king size double bed, both with aspects to the front of the cottage. The bathroom has a shower over bath, toilet and hand basin. To the rear and off the landing is a third room, with occasional study desk and stocked bookshelves which enjoys direct access through double doors onto the lawned garden. The pretty cottage garden can be accessed from the ground floor rooms up a single flight of external steps and also from the first floor. Due to the original nature of the internal staircase this accommodation is not recommended for children under 8 years of age and adults with mobility restrictions.
