Tucked away in the small hamlet of Two Dales, named due to the twin valleys of Hall Dale and Sydnope Dale which run on either side of the village, Ivy Cottage is a beautiful stone property with great appeal. Complete with a log burning stove, modern kitchen and finished to a high standard, this dwelling also has the perfect wisteria clad patio where you can take a glass of your choice and enjoy an evening under the stars.
Surrounded by the stunning Derwent Valley, there is plenty to see and do. Take a morning walk to visit the ducks in Whitworth Park, set foot on one of many walks from your doorstep or explore the local shops and restaurants.
Hop in the car and after just a few minutes drive, you could be visiting some of the Peaks many other attractions. Take a ride on a steam train in Matlock, have a pudding in Bakewell or soak up history at the infamous Chatsworth House.

The Hawkes and Nessling Families
A super cottage in a great location. The cottage is so cosy and warm. Well equipped and spotlessly clean, such a lovely place to come back to after some extremely wet and windy days caused by ‘storm Dudley and Eunice’. We enjoyed good days in Bakewell, Buxton, Cromford and a walk in the grounds of Chatsworth and Edensor, highly recommending the Tea Cottage in Edensor, and Sunday lunch at the Devonshire Arms in Beeley. We hope to come back for more walking next time.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely area. Well stocked and with a dishwasher, a luxury for a couple of us! Janet was very helpful and left us some lovely shortbread and bubbly, a lovely touch. Beds all very comfortable and rooms spacious enough for us all. We loved the bar in the garden! A brilliant idea and well used. Cottage spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely cottage.
