This cottage was about the location and the views we had. A glorious setting with so many walks. Plenty of equipment in the cottage with use of freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. The little books with walks were so useful even though they were a few years old. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of storage if required. The shower was so powerful with plenty of hot water and the towels were lovely and soft. Lots of birds in the garden and we were able to eat outside at the table. the location is not far from Bakewell (famous for pies) and Chatsworth House. Thank you for such a wonderful week where we could experience the moors and peaks. Highly recommended.

The Hideaway was the perfect quiet and beautiful retreat. The views were amazing as was the garden and surrounding landscapes, it could not have been better, what luck to find this.
Mr Allen
A lovely, private, quiet location for a Peak District holiday. Perfect for casual walkers and birdwatchers. Very welcoming hosts, but not intrusive..
