Inside has been totally refurbished to a brilliant standard and interior designed with attention to detail rippling throughout the cottage. The lounge is cosy with comfy sofas, cushions and a glowing contemporary log burning stove. The kitchen is spacious, full of character and extremely well fitted with everything you’ll need for your stay. A light and airy dining room with fantastic views, original and immaculately decorated bedrooms and a stunning, modern bathroom all make this cottage the perfect getaway.

Sit on the patio to have your breakfast and gasp in wonder at the amazing views that are around you. Being surrounded by glorious countryside and views down the valley, the location of Pearson's But and Ben is simply fantastic. Wirksworth town is only a short drive away with its heritage trail and railway, an array of local and interesting shops, friendly pubs and restaurants and even a little cinema. If you’ve come for an active holiday then this is the place for you, with the High Peaks Trail nearby and Carsington Water with its wild water sports. Footpaths weave around the cottage leading you on some really great walks through the Peaks. If you are wanting to explore the rest of Derbyshire then you’re not too far from Matlock Bath with its cable cars soaring in the sky, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall or even pop to Bakewell one afternoon to sample it’s famous Pudding. A lovely cottage in a very quiet area, views across the valley to the regrown hill side. you have sun on all areas of the court yard. Local walks can be taken from the cottage or a medium drive to one of the peaks.
