When you're finished with the entertainment, enter the kitchen/diner area and prepare a nourishing family meal, making use of the electric oven, induction hob, and microwave, there's even a dishwasher to help you with the cleaning up. After dinner is served, sit and enjoy quality time with your family on the large dining table, chatting about the wonderful day you've had and what's on the agenda for tomorrow. Parking is available at the back of the garden in a nearby car park, which is shared with other houses nearby. Wander over to one of the traditional 18th century pubs right on the property's doorstep, enjoying a beer after one of the many country walks at your disposal. There's also a variety of local shops, restaurants and the Peak Village shopping centre is just down the road. Keen cyclists will enjoy this location as Rowsley Bar has been named in the top 100 climbs in Britain. Take a long walk along River Derwent which flows peacefully through the historic Rowsley. Just over three miles away from the property is the magnificent Chatsworth House, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, with tours that incorporate the Painted Hall, State Rooms and Sculpture Gallery, where you can learn about the family history. The charming market town of Bakewell is great for a day out, offering trips to Thornbridge Brewery, Bakewell Old House Museum, Haddon Hall, and Chatsworth Farmyard and Adventure Playground. Be adventurous at outdoor activity centre, Dolomite Training, where you can go climbing, caving, abseiling, mountain biking, and navigation courses. Other nearby local attractions include Caudwell's Mill Trust, Carsington Water which is a delightful spot for a picnic in the summer, Dovedale and the Tissington Trail, a 13-mile route commencing in Ashbourne. Rowsley is a small village located south of Chatsworth, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, and is a short journey away from Haddon Hall. Rowsley has plenty of attractions and activities including shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants and fishing.
