Just up the lane from the centre of Hartington, a sweet little cottage called Greystones is located. Being in the midst of the Peak District, it's an ideal property for a small group looking for adventure. This superbly decorated cottage is cosy and comfortable with an attractive lounge, complete with a glowing log burning stove to relax in front of with your loved ones and a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. The bedrooms have stunning views over the village and comfy beds to rest and refuel. 

If you’re looking for a taste of village life, you’ll be just a short stroll away from two friendly pubs, two village shops, a tea room, and a fantastic local cheese shop. A network of footpaths going off in every direction is there to explore the surrounding areas and villages and there are as well the local popular attractions of cable cars, castles, historic houses, water sports, steam trains, and canals, to name just a few. 

The scenic duck pond in Hartington is a must-see - the village is set around it so don’t forget to take plenty of photos to show your friends and family; it really is beautiful. Other delightful ways to spend your days whilst staying at Greystones is a bike ride on the Tissington Trail or even a visit to Alton Towers if you’re looking for an adrenaline rush - all within a 20-minute drive away.
