The pretty village of Bradwell is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The village of Castleton is just three miles away, home to fascinating caves, plus Edale in the Edale Valley, known as the start of the Pennine Way is nearby. Hathersage is just four miles away and has excellent cafes and an open air, heated swimming pool, whilst further afield is the market town of Bakewell and the Spa town of Buxton.

This was our third visit and it did not disappoint. It is clean, warm, comfortable and very well presented. It is also well equipped should you want to cook, however the local pub The Shoulder of Mutton provides a friendly welcome and very tasty food. The property's setting is beautiful just beneath Bradwell Edge, with a balcony overlooking the fields with horses and sheep and also the pretty village houses. The area is perfect for sightseeing, walking or just relaxing. Good communication with the owner.

We found it very relaxing and loved watching the horses from the balcony. Owners were very friendly. Lots to see and do in the area. Hope to be back soon Sue Kingston
