Orange Pip Cottage is simply stunning. Recently renovated and sitting in a quiet little lane, it looks out over fields on the edge of the fabulous Chatsworth estate. Chatsworth Farm shop is nearby and the famous market town of Bakewell is just a few minutes further. Orange Pip is spacious - a large open living room, super dining/kitchen and four en-suite bedrooms - and a very special place to bring your family and friends.

Baslow is a picturesque village spanning the River Derwent. It has a great selection of pubs and restaurants, one with a Michelin Star and a little parade of shops showing stylish interiors, art and tailored clothes together with a coffee shop. A number of beautiful walks start from Baslow and the view from the top of Baslow Edge is spectacular.

Chatsworth is a must on everyone's 'to do' list but you might also fancy historic Haddon Hall, Monsall's exciting cycle trail, Peak Rail's steam trains, the National Tramway Museum and Castleton's Blue John Caverns. If you are not too tired at the end of the day what about a visit to Matlock Bath's illuminations, a show in Buxton's Opera House or just a meal in Rowley's bistro or the Il Lupo restaurant in the village. Watch the sun set over the fields as you have the last drink in the lovely cottage garden.

Cottage facilities:

A very spacious lounge with quality leather sofas and chairs, modern log burning stove, T.V., FreeSat and WiFi. A fantastic dining/kitchen with large dining table and chairs, range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and double patio doors to the garden. Three attractive and spacious bedrooms (two doubles and one twin) on the first floor each with an en-suite bathroom or shower room with W.C. A lovely, vaulted twin bedroom on the second floor with an en-suite bathroom with bath. A downstairs powder room with wardrobe and W.C.

Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, under floor heating, power and an initial supply of logs for the stove are included (£20 charged extra Oct - Mar). A cot and high chair can be requested. There is a large garden area. Parking is on the quiet lane down from the cottage. Pets and smoking are not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult. Bookings are from Friday to Friday. A £200 cash security deposit is payable on arrival to the owner.

Short breaks are available throughout the year excluding Xmas and New Year.
