We mainly booked the cottage for the location and the use of the hot tub which was obviously welcome after walking. It is in a nice spot with the garden looking over the river. The garden room looks to be a new addition and was a lovely place to sit, although there were only two chairs so more chairs would be an advantage as the property is for six people. Also the main bathroom did not have a mirror. The bedrooms were lovely with good bedding and furniture. I would recommend this cottage although there are a few low beams and low doors to be aware of so a couple of us that were over 6 foot had to make sure we decked our heads!

One of the loveliest cottages we have ever stayed in. Absolute perfection. The owners Shada and Paul have thought of everything anyone could wish for ( fizz and chocolates on arrival were such a thoughtful touch). Twinkly fairy lights everywhere, fabulous hot tub and kitchen facilities. Charlie’s Bistro ( literally across the road) was an added bonus. HIGHLY recommend! Thank you both so much.

It began with an excellent welcome pack and a visit from Paul and Shada to show us how the fire and hot tub worked. The beds were very comfortable and the fire and hot tub were a luxury to return to after a walk. The cottage is perfectly situated with walks from the door around the Chatsworth estate. Paul and Shada were easily contactable both before and after the stay offering advice on days out and places to eat. Overall an ideal place for three generations to meet up and have a well needed break.
