For walkers and cyclists, the nearby trails across the Monsal and Millers Dales are not to be missed. Elsewhere, the English grandeur of Chatsworth House and its parklands offer a great place to spend the day exploring. The picturesque market town of Bakewell and the historical villages of Eyam and Foolow with its village green and duck pond, are just a short drive away.
