Dawn Cottage is a warm welcoming family run traditional farm set within the Dovedale region of Peak District National Park, between Ashbourne and Buxton. The owners run a livestock farm, and as well as breeding cows and sheep they also have geese, hens and sheepdogs. This beautiful barn conversion is located on a gentle hillside offering glorious panoramic views over the River Dove and open countryside extending to the Tissington Trail and the Dove Valley.
The cottage offers light and airy open plan ground floor living and three good sized bedrooms upstairs with original beams and fabulous views outside. The cottage is close to the Tissington Trail and the River Dove which can be easily reached on foot from the doorstep for many stunning and interesting walks and cycle routes.

Dawn cottage is situated in the most beautiful position above Dave Dale. A short work from the cottage, across a field is the place they call 'the view' and what a view, fabulous. The farmer and his wife were very friendly with lots if advice and thr farm has lots of lovely animals. The cottage itself was fine but lacking in character and down stairs was not enough natural light and a small court yard garden with no view but it was comfortable, clean and tidy and we arrived to find a delicious home made cake as well as bread, eggs and milk. The fabulous situation made up for thr lack ofncharacter in the cottage andnit was reasonabley priced . If I could change one thing, it would be to put clear glass in the door window, so you could see out of the property down stairs. Privacy could be provided by blind. Thr opaque window made us feel enclosed in and it would have been nice to see out onto the farm
