Conveniently set at the end of picturesque Dovedale, enjoy the Tissington Trail where you can roam over 30 miles of countryside trails on foot or by bike. Within 20 miles visit Matlock Bath's Little Switzerland gorge, Peak Rail's steam trains puffing along the Derwent Valley and the National Tramway Museum for fun for the whole family. However, remember to leave some time aside to enjoy Chatsworth House and gardens (22 miles) or experience heart stopping thrills on the latest rides at Alton Towers, 14 miles away.
