The Tissington Trail is perfect for walking or cycling, it follows the path of a former railway line and passes through picturesque countryside and charming villages.
Carsington Water is a short drive away and is a popular spot for watersports, including sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. The reservoir is also surrounded by walking and cycling trails which makes a great 8-mile route. Our second visit and every bit as good as the first one. Spotlessly clean and well equipped property with a very generous welcome pack from the always amenable owner. Located close to the town centre in a quiet cul de sac. Ideal location to explore the surrounding areas including the stunningly beautiful countryside.

We have holidayed in cottages several times a year for the past 7 years. Cherry Tree Corner easily makes the top 3 and is argueably the best we've ever stayed in. Ruth and Terry have thought of everything guests may need. Oh........Ashbourne is lovely too!!
