Welcome to Moorhayes House in Tytherington. Situated in a quiet location half a mile from Macclesfield, we offer a comfortable and well equipped range of ensuite accommodation ideal for both business and leisure stays. Single occupancy guests, couples and families of up to three people are welcome and all rooms enjoy pleasant views including some which overlook our lawn rear garden. We are conveniently situated just a twenty minute drive from the M6 and Manchester International Airport can be reached in around half an hour. We are also close to the A523 which leads to Stockport and road links from nearby Macclesfield can take you straight into the Peak District and Buxton. Local amenities including a pub serving food can be found just a two minute walk away.

We offer a choice of eight guest rooms at Moorhayes House including a ground floor single room, double and twin rooms plus family accommodation for up to three people. Our twin and double rooms are also available for single occupancy. All rooms are well equipped with plenty of storage, a small ensuite shower room, TV and a tray with tea, coffee, Horlicks and drinking chocolate. Fresh milk is always available in the dining room.

To accompany your breakfast, we serve a choice of teas, coffee and fruit juices. Private off road parking facilities are available at Moorhayes House and we also provide free Wi-Fi service for guest's use. We have been awarded a three star guest house rating from Visit Britain and we runner up in an environmental award in 2006.

Take the A538 Beech Lane heading north out of Macclesfield. After half a mile pass Tytherington High School on the right, then look out for our white and green sign on the left. Do not put our postcode into a satnav - it will take you into the nearby residential estate and try to get you into our back garden - over six foot fences! "27 Manchester Road" works.
