Had an issue with the wood burning stove, the owners did all they reasonably could to fix it and were very apologetic. My only issue with the cottage would be with on street parking which was indicated in the Cottage description. Where they wanted me to park was on the verge at the start of an S bend on a narrow, fast, fairly busy country road. I think this is dangerous. The owners parked there too and even had a red flashing light in their back window as a warning, so I'm pretty sure they know it is dangerous too even though they said it had never caused an accident. The trouble is that there isn't any real alternative; I parked in the local pub car park for a couple of nights but there is nothing else in the immediate vicinity

The views from the conservatory / patio are very relaxing. The hosts live next door and were very helpful and welcoming. Also there are lots of walk from the cottage itself which is ideal if you have a dog and don't want to drive to go for a walk. The local pub just down the road also welcomes dogs.

We were warm and snug whilst storm Dudley raged outside.
