Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it as 'perfectly clean' and 'very clean'. This indicates a well-maintained property.

The location is frequently highlighted as quiet, convenient, and ideal for exploring Northumberland's coast and countryside, with easy access to the A1 and local attractions.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with mentions of a comfortable bed and cosy atmosphere. However, some guests noted the bedroom was cramped and the mattress too hard for their preference.

Facilities are adequate with all necessary kitchen utensils provided, though some guests felt that the property description overrepresented the quality and size of amenities like the TV and kitchen worktop space.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews provided, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

There was a pleasant outdoor space. The location was peaceful and within reach of some interesting and attractive places. We were within easy reach of Whitley Bay, Cullercoats, and Tynemouth. The beaches in the area are impressive e.g. Creswell and Durridge and Woodhorn Museum is worth a visit. The cottage provided a comfortable base with convenient parking at the door.
