The village of Rode Heath is home to Rode Hall which has some lovely gardens to enjoy as well as a nice tea room. There is also a farmers market held here the first Saturday of every month. The neighbouring town of Alsager can be found just a short drive away, or you can decide to take a leisurely stroll over to this vibrant area, home to a host of sports and leisure activities, lovely lakes, intimate restaurants, and direct trains to Crewe. Also not far away is the bustling market town of Sandbach which is home to a great selection of wine bars and restaurants to enjoy. For a day out in the fresh air, discover one of the nearby parks, Congleton Park and Sandback Park are in close distance, offering an outdoor gym, and bowling greens, you can also take a magical woodland walk through Brereton Heath Nature Reserve. Cyclists will thrive in this corner of Cheshire with cycling routes such as the oasis of Dane Valley Way, landscape farmland stretch South Cheshire Way, or throughout the flowing canals of Cheshire Ring. Cultural attractions await you at several National Trust properties, including Tatton Hall and Park, Little Moreton Hall, and Biddulph Grange Garden, Bridgemere Garden Centre, Trentham Gardens as well as the unique Potteries monument in Stoke-on-Trent, boasting guided tours, painting and afternoon tea.
