New for 2022 is this stunning lodge with a double bedroom with en suite, and the second bedroom can be configured as either a double or twin bedroom, bathroom, open plan lounge/dining area and well-equipped kitchen, French doors to a private decked area with sunken hot tub and seating area. The kitchen features a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler, washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is also a utility room with a sink for washing boots. Fibre-optic Wi-Fi. Early check-in at 2pm is available at this site but must be booked and paid for at least 1 week prior to arrival. Due to the fact that lodges need to be cleaned and hot tubs drained, cleaned and refilled after every guest has vacated, check-in time is strictly 3pm onwards at this site unless an early check-in has been booked prior to arrival".
There will be that routine grounds maintenance being undertaken on the lakes to remove reeds growing in the lakes. This will be undertaken in all the lakes on site and should not affect your stay in any way apart from the slight noise of the machinery on site.

Beds are wooden framed with sharp corners. Bit hazardous.

Comfortable beds. Only had an under counter fridge with small freezer compartment which could be a problem if self catering throughout your stay. Fridge was also very noisy and light inside flickered constantly (fridge is potentially about to break down).Didn’t make use of the hot tub as raining most of the week we were there.Enjoyed the location close to Blackpool and Fleetwood etc.

Really nice break. We’ve been before and returned again. It’s perfect for us and the dog, with the view from the hot tub watching the ducks really peaceful. The lodge has quite a few marks and damaged edges, the sofas are also looking a bit dirty, so in need of some real TLC in the older lodges. We would return again.
