Well equipped kitchen with good quality appliances. The village of Waddington is lovely too, we ate at the High Buck which is just over the road, we pre-booked on the advice of the host as it’s obviously a very popular place to go. Surrounding area lovely too. Clitheroe just a short drive away, Holden Clough nurseries worth a visit. Forest of Bowland is beautiful. We stayed for 3 nights, wished we’d stayed longer!

Very well furnished with quirky objects around the cottage. We enjoyed our stay here.

We booked meals at the Waddington Arms and the Higher Buck and all meals were of an excellent standard and quantity, so much so we only shared a starter on the first night and after that had one course only before we were full. The village and surrounding area are lovely but the weather was lots of showers for our week away which curtailed our walks.
