The country park is a popular destination for visitors exploring this AONB, with the River Hodder running through it, a farm attraction where you can meet wild boar, goats, meerkats, llamas and more, plus endless family activities including playgrounds, go-karting, climbing frames and woodland trails. An on-site café provides refreshments without having to venture far, and you’ll also find pubs serving gourmet grub in the nearby village of Chipping (2.5 miles). Visitors who love the world of The Lord of the Rings will adore The Tolkien Trail (9 miles), a circular walking route through the Lancashire countryside that’s said to have inspired J.R.R. Tolkien during his time in this part of the world. There’s also plenty to see in Clitheroe (9.5 miles), while nearby Pendle Hill (15.5 miles) is famed for its haunting links to witchcraft.

Last, but never least, the sofas offer a comfortable space to unwind around the TV. Move along the hall to reach two bedrooms – a king-size master and a cosy twin – both dressed in soft linens and warmed by gentle lighting. A sofa bed in the living area provides additional flexible sleeping space for up to two family members. The property is served by a larger family bathroom, featuring a step up to the bath, plus an additional en-suite shower room attached to the master bedroom.

Accessible via the lounge, this outdoor space is well furnished and features both a gas BBQ and your very own hot tub, ideal for evenings beneath the stars. Elsewhere on-site, explore children’s play areas, woodland and riverside trails, plus farmyard animals with meet-and-greet experiences. Private parking is allocated for two cars next to the property, and there’s a shared car park on-site too.
