Guests have enjoyed the Homewood Pod's cosy atmosphere, hot tub, and the privacy it offers. The surrounding woods provide a tranquil setting, and the pod is well-located for exploring local attractions. While some guests mentioned minor issues with cleanliness and comfort, the overall experience is highly regarded, with particular praise for the pod's charm and the thoughtful touches provided.
The pod is generally appreciated for its cleanliness, though a few guests noted cobwebs and dust. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, suggesting a high standard of cleanliness with room for improvement in attention to detail.
The location is frequently praised for its privacy, natural surroundings, and proximity to local amenities and attractions. The peaceful setting in the woods and the nearby ice cream place are highlights, contributing to a positive perception of the location.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While the pod is described as cosy and the underfloor heating is appreciated, several guests have suggested that the mattress and sofa bed could be more comfortable. The pod's charm seems to mitigate these concerns to some extent.
The facilities, including the hot tub and kitchen, are generally well-received. However, guests have mentioned the need for maintenance, such as replacing the frying pan and addressing minor wear and tear. The presence of a welcome pack and good cooking facilities are noted positively.
The provision of a welcome pack and additional directions are seen as thoughtful gestures. Guests have mentioned a bottle of wine in the fridge, which is a nice touch, although it should be noted that such gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed.

Good location as Blackpool, Lancaster, Garstang, morecombe etc are very near. Private and quiet with access to a hot tub on a night is a big plus. Cosy cabin and numerous comforts/facilities inside made our time there very enjoyable. A few very minor things would help. A mirror for the bathroom, something for the leaves in the hot tub before and after use would be helpful. The welcoming book needs updating as we noticed some pubs/restaurants were no longer open and were listed as such. However the book was very helpful. Had some issues with bugs and flies on a night getting into the pod so a screen or something similar would be helpful. However this is due to the location I.e. next to some trees and farmland. Overall an excellent stay and would recommend and come back for another visit.

I will say the pod and hot tub were nice and warm on arrival and the pod was nice and cosy Shower was on the edge of being hot enough but facilities were go. I know the weather can't be helped but we got marooned in the pod due to flooding outside on new years eve and I had to paddle through water above my ankles to get our stuff to the car and give my partner a piggyback to the car and the water smelled of cow poo too. I'm sure they had this problem before but there was no sign of any help for us to leave by 10am.

Arrive, grab the key & unwind. The welcome pack was good & gave good details of local amenities including the basic items for a drink. The hot tub was overlooked by a large house above it which wasn't too off-putting. The enormous tree & foilage covering the site attracted quite a few bugs, especially at night. Majority of the pod was clean & tidy except cobwebs around the ceiling as my partner is taller than me & got hit by them. Under the sofa bed had not been cleaned in a long time (a lot of debris, dust etc). All in all, it was a nice, comfortable stay. Thank you.
