Guests adore the cottage for its idyllic setting, tranquility, and cleanliness, with many planning return visits. The surrounding Bodnant Estate offers stunning views and a delightful farm shop. A welcome hamper adds a thoughtful touch, though its contents may vary. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, but overall experiences are very positive.
The majority of reviews praise the cottage's cleanliness, with several guests highlighting its super clean condition. However, a few guests mentioned issues with blocked drains, grubby grout, and cobwebs, slightly lowering the score.
The location is consistently lauded for its beauty, tranquility, and proximity to local attractions like Bodnant Gardens. The remote setting and stunning views contribute to a high score.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed and a cosy atmosphere. The presence of a woodburning fire and a spacious bathroom add to the comfort level.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped. However, some guests suggest the need for more crockery and comment on the impracticality of a cabin bedroom layout, as well as the need for attention to the oven/grill and patio/garden.
The welcome hamper is frequently mentioned and appreciated, especially for its thoughtfulness towards guests with dietary requirements. It's important to note that while the hamper is a lovely addition, its contents may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Beautiful cottage and location. Perfect! Clean and well presented

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage, especially important as my stay coincided with a period of heavy rain, when trying to get outside was well nigh impossible. So, being warm and cosy was most welcome.

The House was in a very nice position and the area fantastic BUT as far as i am concerned the house/ gardens were "sloppy". The hedges were too high and close to the house so you could not see the valley at all unless you walked some way up the drive. Plants growing on the house were loose and constantly hit you as you walked by. Silly things but unnecessary. The house was a magnet for spiders, and on the second day the TV decided to refuse to play BBC or ITV, I checked the satellite dish cable and all was well but TV said no. Angry wife who could not see soaps!!!!!. We have stayed in 2 of your lighthouses and found them perfect in all respects so a little dissapointed but I think the house is maintaind by Bodnant Estate so maybe that is the reason. Oh and bedroom 2 smelled so strong of dogs it was hard to enter.
