The Leeds Liverpool Canal can be reached in just a few minutes’ walk.  There are narrow boat moorings along the canal, and the footpath provides picturesque walks to Foulridge and Barnoldswick in the opposite direction.  Rosemount Cottage provides a perfect base for travel to the Lake District, and . . .
