Spacious 14ft wide 3 bedroom mini lodge on Ocean edge Park resorts holiday park, heysham, Morecambe. Close to amenities but far enough away to have a quiet break. Situated at the ever-popular Ocean Edge Holiday Park in Heysham, close to Morecambe, this stunning seaside retreat offers a full range of facilities and entertainment, perfect for a family break. Both lodges stand detached, have allocated private parking and a decked area with garden furniture, perfect for sitting outside with a glass of wine whilst you soak up the sunshine and enjoy the fresh sea air. Families with children will love the relaxing atmosphere and chilled way of life at Ocean Edge, but in an evening you can immerse yourself in the nightly entertainment, cabaret and shows that make this park on of the most popular in the North West. To gain access to all of the parks amenities, entertainment passes can be purchased upon arrival. Please note in quieter times of the season facilities maybe limited. Its seaside location makes it perfect for a quiet coastal walk, and if you want to bring along your four-legged friends, feel free, there are plenty of places to exercise and take in the panoramic scenery of the Irish Sea.

Ocean Lodge is in an enviable position and partial sea views. This wonderful lodge comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests in one kingsize and two twin bedrooms. The open plan living space offers plenty of easy seating, a dining area and modern kitchen leading to the private decking.

If you like to be beside the seaside, the popular town of Morecambe is just a few miles away with its famous promenade, shops, bars, restaurants and amusement arcades. It has a fantastic sandy beach, one of the best in the area, and the smell of fish and chips wafts from the nearby sellers. If you prefer a more cosmopolitan experience then the city of Lancaster is just 5 miles away with a fantastic shopping centre containing all the usual brands and designer stores.To the north you can reach Kendal, ’the gateway to the Lakes’ in around a 25-minute drive, from there you are in the heart of the South Lakes and the Lake District National Park. Visit the famous steamers on Lake Windermere or the popular towns of Bowness, Windermere and Ambleside for a truly unique Lake District experience. Beach 4 miles. Shop and restaurant on site

The town of Morecambe is set on Morecambe Bay. Always a popular resort, recent investment has revived the coastline and offers families the chance to enjoy the many pleasures of the seaside, whether it is flying kites, building sandcastles or simply enjoying a stroll along the promenade. Morecambe has two large live music venues, the Platform and the Hothouse. Don’t forget to visit the Eric Morecambe Statue, which looks out across the promenade, and the Tern Project, a series of public art installations inspired by the birdlife of Morecambe Bay. Families can enjoy Happy Mount Park, where family-friendly attractions compliment the atmosphere of peace and tranquillity of a traditional park. Plenty for everyone, including good eating houses, traditional fish and chips, a full array of pubs and two good golf courses.
