The idea of having an outside area was good but made superfluous by the fact that neither of the french windows opened. There were only three comfy seats in the lounge and only three mugs for tea/coffee yet there were 4 people staying. The duvets on the two single beds were very thin. The scatter cushions on the bed were just an annoyance. The door instructions are incorrect. The key lock was on the right and you had to use a security fob on the right to open the door. Our fob was not attached to the key so we had to speak to the owner to gain entry.Arnside itself it a magical location.

Mishmash was amazing, the rooms were large with floor to ceiling windows. The grounds were home to some much wildlife. The only complaint I have is that there was no drying rack, fortunately a resident lent us one.

Failure to deal with longstanding issue of crow attacking main bedroom french window at 5 am. Moved to second bedroom with agreement of cottages.com agent. Heated towel rail in en suite not working. Main light in second bedroom not working. No bedside lights in second bedroom. Excellent apartment with lovely views let down by lack of attention to detail such as provision of bare minimum of toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets.
