16 Sherwood Lodge is a contemporary lodge, nestled in the South Lakeland Leisure Village of Warton. A home-away-from-home, this property is ideal for families and groups of friends wanting to spend some quality time together, as well as accommodating for those with limited mobility. Step into the hallway, where you can find the washer/dryer as well as access to all other rooms within the lodge. At the heart of the home, the open-plan kitchen/living room is perfect for socialising with your nearest and dearest, whether it be whipping up a tasty group meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, to be enjoyed around the dining table with drinks, or gathering on the sofas to play games or watch a movie on the smart TV. Escape to the first of the twin bedrooms at the end of the night and get cosy in one of the single beds, ensuring you are well rested for the day ahead. Make yourself at home in the master bedroom, housing your belongings in the fitted wardrobes and getting yourself ready for bed in the attractive en-suite, before retiring to your double bed. Across the way, you will find the family bathroom featuring a WC, basin and bath with a shower placed above. Take advantage of this bathroom by soaking up in the bath and enjoying some quiet time. The spacious second twin bedroom is complete with both fitted wardrobes and a dressing table, making this the ideal environment to get yourself ready for the day ahead. There are two parking spaces available at the front of the property and whilst there is no garden space at this property, there are plenty of places to catch a breath of fresh air. Take a walk along Pine Lake and enjoy some fun watersports at Club Nautique Watersports before catching a spot of lunch at Clearwater Fisheries Bistro. For avid walkers, a trip to Carnforth is not complete without a visit to Warton Crag nature reserve. If a night of home cooked food is on the agenda, a number of supermarkets can be found in Carnforth town. Sherwood Lodge is the countryside retreat that you’re all sure to remember.
Warton is quaint village located in the city of Lancaster. There are a number of restaurants and local pubs to visit during your stay, as well as many outdoor activities to enjoy including watersports at Club Nautique or a scenic walk around Warton Crag nature reserve.

It was immaculately clean. Fab TV and surround sound (which we didn't use}. Sofas very comfortable. Large dining table perfect. The bedrooms were adequate in size lots of storage comfortable beds excellent bedding and pillows. Bathrooms /showers were great. Towels lovely. The kitchen was big enough and plenty of storage space. Great having a washer/drier. Veranda was brilliant as we had good weather and was a great chilling area. I must however point out a few things that could easily be addressed. In the kitchen there were plenty of pans but there was only one pyrex dish which was too large for the microwave so really could do with some extra cooking pots. The oven was extremely hard to light so much so we gave up on it and that is where we could have done with dishes for the microwave. When we did get the oven working the grill would only light up on one side. Think the oven just needs PAT testing for safety reasons.. A bedside lamp and mirror in the small bedroom would be an improvement. However all in all we had a lovely comfortable stay and would recommend the Lodge.

The lodge was absolutely wonderful had everything you would need and so spacious and clean me and my family canât thank you enough for a last minute arrival having being let down by Hoeseasons the day before are holiday, we certainly was not disappointed Great park the boys lived fishing on the neighbouring lake bowrick and swimming in the on site pool we would definitely return thank again kind regards Amy

Moved a bed to find crisp packets and detritus under. Shower heads black and new hose required in onsuite. Glasses stuck to shelf. Work surfaces sticky to touch. Oven filthy. Barbecue used as ashtray and not been cleaned (didnât use). TP toothpick down side of bed. Had to put everything through dishwasher. Outside furniture in need of some tender care, well weathered and no cushions for them. Weeds growing through decking. Some furniture in living room well worn. Access panel in twin bedroom fell off in night, lucky bed not in use. No welcome pack (tea, coffee milk) Entertainment system good, beds comfy. PAT test missing on some electrical items Facilities on site hit and miss. Swimming very expensive (£10 per adult per day), as is restaurant (£30 for 2 chicken Bergers chips extra). No childrens play area. Luckily had great weather so weâre out most of day. Used Pine lake (next door) for food and play area. (Good resort) Overall very disappointing.
