From upscale dining to traditional pub fare, there is a wide variety of restaurants to satisfy every taste. Ulverston is recognised for being a festival town, hosting activities like flag-waving and walking, as well as art and music festivals throughout the summer and the renowned Dickensian Christmas celebration in late November. It offers a look into the amusing, communally spirited little town as the birthplace of Stan Laurel and the holder of the world record for the largest foam pie fight. The town and surrounding area offer wonderful walking opportunities, and there are views of Morecambe Bay and the southern Lake District from the countryside.

The farm and scenery are gorgeous, and the owners are really friendly! The cabins are in a really good location, with plenty to do locally and not too far from places such as Windermere and Barrow-in-Furness. Had a lovely time and would definitely like to visit again! The cabin itself was really cosy, fully furnished with a tv, couch, towels, dishes etc, really handy!

The hut was spotless with a nice message written in the rug on arrival. With beautiful views right outside the door which we was able to enjoy whilst enjoying the hottub, made even better with the pups Meg and Polly checking in, Carol was a absolute delight always on hand if we needed anything or wanted to find places to walk to. Make sure you take Carrots for Charlie and Mindy
