Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. While a few guests noted minor issues with kitchen equipment and living space for larger groups, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.
Cleanliness is a standout feature, with numerous reviews describing the cottage as spotlessly clean and well maintained. Only positive remarks were made regarding the standard of cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Guests appreciate the rural setting and easy access to local attractions, though a few mention the narrow country lane.
Guests frequently mention comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. While most found the cottage spacious enough, a few noted that the living area can feel snug for larger groups.
The cottage is well equipped with kitchen utensils, appliances, and entertainment options. Some minor suggestions for upgrades (e.g., kitchen equipment, toaster) were noted, but overall satisfaction with facilities is very high.
Many guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs with milk, biscuits, and juice. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
