Completing the property is a convenient off-road parking space, meaning you can easily set off on foot or by car from this idyllic location. Smardale nature reserve is just on the doorstep as are the Howgill hills providing plenty of opportunities to go walking from your doorstep. Join the Coast-to-Coast path for some serious walking, explore sleepy country lanes by bicycle, enjoy a bracing plunge in one of the many local wild swimming spots or hop onto the wonderfully scenic Carlisle to Settle railway.
