Enjoying a wonderful location settled between the Lake District Fells and Morecambe Bay, as well as easy access to all the local amenities, 1 The Stables is a fantastic dwelling for couples or a family of four who are looking for the perfect blend of country and coast.
Park-up in one of two off-road parking spaces, before unloading your bags and making your way into your new home-from-home.
Be welcomed into the sitting room, where you can look forward to snuggling up with your loved ones on the sofa and select the evening’s entertainment, whether that’s your favourite film on the Smart TV with soundbar or battling it out on the Xbox.
When it’s time for dinner, make your way through to the kitchen/diner, where you can look forward to whipping up flavourful meals with the help of the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, along with a handy dishwasher ensuring a fuss-free clean-up!
Settle down at the dining table for four and tuck-in to a well-deserved feast paired with a bottle of wine. Completing the ground floor is a cloakroom housing a WC, ideal for those morning queues! Set between the Lake District fells and Morecambe Bay, Grange-over-Sands is a lovely Edwardian seaside resort with one of the mildest climates in northern England. The Furness Railway transformed Grange-over-Sands from a sleepy fishing hamlet into a posh seaside resort in the early 1900s. Visitors can now enjoy a pedestrian-only promenade, beautiful ornamental gardens, golf courses, brass band concerts, and fantastic bird viewing in this charming town of the past. Nearby are Lake Windermere, the villages of Bowness on the Windermere (about 8 miles distant) and Hawkshead, all of which preserve their unique beauty and character.

The property is opposite the train station in a great location to walk into Grange. The cottage was clean and catered for everything with great facilities. Thank you.

The cottage in a fantastic position opposite the train/bus station. It has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay in Grange over Sands. Just a few steps and your on the promenade which has fantastic views over Morecambe Bay. As a keen walker thereâs plenty to choose from in Grange or Arnside where is just a short train ride away. Will definitely be returning to the Stables in the future.

Just two niggles, small bathroom in comparison with no shelves and it was a little chilly in the evening as the underfloor heating in the lounge did not appear to work.
