Situated in the southern Lake District and just a few short miles from the coastal estuary and the seaside town of Grange-over-Sands is the small village of Lindale. With a true 'Lakeland feel', due to its narrow streets, traditional dwellings and quaint old pubs, this charming village is positioned on the slopes of Hampsfield Fell. The coastal resorts of Arnside and Grange are worth a visit, whilst the pretty town of Cartmel - with its famous annual horse race meetings - offers plenty to see. Lake Windermere and the villages of Bowness-on-Windermere and Hawkshead are only a short drive away and still retain the charm and character that has endeared them to so many visitors. The fabulous countryside which surrounds Lindale also provides exceptional walking and cycling opportunities.

Parking also easy. However, hob virtually unusable - despite instruction booklet being left. It was a major challenge to switch on. I'd suggest it being changed as I note others have had similar difficulties. I'd also suggest a snib should be put on the door to lock at night. As it was the keys had to be left in the door. The door couldn't be locked on the inside if one person went out, so a second key should be provided as an alternative

The property is very clean and well maintained. The induction hob takes a bit of getting used to but we ate out during the day so didn't use it too much. The views from the front windows are lovely. The area is ver quiet and peaceful. My four stars given is only because the bed is very uncomfortable, we could feel the springs in the mattress.
