The Calf Shed is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the friendly hosts, the bonus of a hot tub, and the scenic walks nearby. It's an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquillity and a rural escape, with some thoughtful touches like a welcome pack adding to the experience.

The location is frequently highlighted for its peace, scenic views, and proximity to walking areas. It's rural and ideal for those looking to explore the countryside, though some guests noted the need to drive.
The cottage is often described as comfortable, with a 'very comfy bed' and a 'lovely and warm' atmosphere. However, a few guests suggested the need for a larger sofa and additional kitchen utensils.

Great little cottage if you want to explore and doesn't mind driving. Very quiet, milk & biscuits as a bonus. Host was friendly. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to use the hot tub.

We had a lovely time at the calf shed, it was well equipped for a self catering holiday, and we could take our dog which was a big plus for us. We did some long walks with him.
