The cottage is nicely decorated with a lovely bathroom and plenty of hot water. The setees' are very comfortable with lovely scatter cushions. The bed is in need of a new mattress as a large piece of foam has been placed over the mattress however, one still sinks in the main places. The cottage is in need of a deep clean. The toilet hadn't been cleaned thoroughly for some time and I, myself used half a bottle of bleach cleaning it. There was also a few cobwebs and the oven required a clean. The backs of the dining chairs also required cleaning. Feedback for Sykes: When customers are booking accommodation on your web-site is it possible to have a 'Special Requests' section like most other booking sites. I have a dust allergy and always prefer to inform the owners so that particular attention can be paid to the standard of cleanliness. Thank you.

Thanks to Ann and Philip for providing such a comfortable and cosy "home from home" with everything we needed for a relaxing stay! Would love to return yet again later in the year.

Been to sedbergh cottages for many years and noticed the cottages we used before have prices that seem to keep them empty. Would love to return off peak. Thank you.
