This place is very good stay for cottage, very neat and tidy, comfortable bed, good surroundings and can walk around. Only thing i felt that electric cooker is not good for large group because we can't cook on the large vessels, we have to cook on the small vessels and waste our lot of time.

We stayed at Blaithwaite as a family group for my mum's 80th birthday over Christmas. It was the perfect location for us in the middle of the country. Lovely walks, fun to play the Crazy golf and the Laser tag was brilliant. The kitchen isn't huge but worked quite well all the same, we would really have benefitted from another fridge though. The hot tub was quite small for a house that sleeps 20, only fitted 4 people. Very comfortable house though, large living room and dining rooms were perfect for allowing people to spread out.

Fabulous weekend with family with ages 4 - 65 and despite weather we had a fab time. Lovely walks and loved the original features of the house - very quirky layout! Kitchen well equipped and bed linen excellent quality. Showers great and grounds with the games were a great feature!
